Acer in India introduces Swift Edge, the world’s lightest 4K OLED notebook

Acer Swift Edge has been launched in India. It is claimed to be the world’s lightest 16-inch OLED laptop. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor, which has eight cores and a maximum turbo frequency of 4.7 GHz. It is equipped with the Microsoft Pluton security processor, which helps defend against increasingly complex cyber attacks.

The 16GB RAM with 1TB SSD combo Acer Swift Edge is priced at Rs 124,999. Only Olivine Black is available in it. The device will be available for purchase through Amazon and the Acer India store.

The Acer Swift Edge features a 16-inch 4K OLED display with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,400 pixels. The screen has a maximum brightness of 400 nits and supports 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. For a durable and comfortable viewing experience, the display of the new laptop has been certified by VESA DisplayHD True Black 500 and TUV Rheinland Eyesafe.

The Acer Swift Edge is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U processor with an octa-core configuration and a base clock of 2.7 GHz and a maximum turbo clock of 4.7 GHz. AMD Radeon graphics are also built in. This Acer laptop is equipped with 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD storage and 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Additionally, customers can have strong security measures to protect personal data and secure business with AMD Ryzen Pro, Microsoft Pluton and biometric authentication.

Acer TNR (Temporal Noise Reduction) technology is used by the front FHD camera to provide high quality images even in low light. Acer PurifiedVoice with AI Noise Reduction makes video calls better than ever.

There is a 54Wh battery and 65W USB Type-C fast charging is supported. It has a USB Type-C port, a USB 3.2 port and a USB 3.2 port with power-off capability.
