Honor Pad V8 Pro tablet launched with 144Hz display

The Chinese technology company Honor introduced the Honor Pad V8 Pro tablet. The card is equipped with a 144Hz IPS LCD display. The device runs on MagicOS 7.0, Android 12 operating system. Additionally, it is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100. The front camera can only capture full-HD video; 4K video can be recorded with the rear camera. Apart from this, the company also introduced the Honor 80 GT and the Honor Band 7 fitness tracker.

The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option for the Honor Pad V8 Pro tablet is priced at CNY 2,599, which is approximately Rs 31,000. The 8GB RAM with 256GB storage option is priced at CNY 2,899, which is around Rs 34,500. The most expensive model, which has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, costs CNY 3,299, or about Rs 39,300. Three different color options are offered for the Honor Pad V8 Pro – Burning Orange, Clear Sky Blue and Star Grey.

You can already pre-order the tablet on the Honor website; it is scheduled to go on sale on December 30. But for now, there is a discount of CNY 100, which is around Rs. 1,200, applies to all three variants.

Honor Pad V8 Pro specifications

The 12.1-inch IPS LCD display on the Honor Pad V8 Pro has a resolution of 1,600 x 2,560 pixels. The maximum brightness of the screen is 600 nits and the refresh rate is 144 Hz. The tablet comes pre-installed with MagicOS 7.0, which is based on Android 12. The gadget is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

The Honor Pad V8 Pro comes with a 10,050mAh battery and supports 35W fast charging. Available connectivity options are Wi-Fi 6, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.2 and a USB Type-C connector.

The Honor Pad V8 Pro has a single 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash on the back. Additionally, it features a 5-megapixel sf/2.2 front-facing camera for selfies. The front camera can only record in Full HD, while the rear camera can record in 4K.

The gadget has an integrated accelerometer and works with both the Smart Touch keyboard and the Magic Pencil 3.
